Handler Deputy Jack Simpson

Deputy Jack Simpson started with the Sheriff’s Office in 2002. He has held various positions during his career at the Sheriff’s Office. These include Corrections Officer, Computer Technician, and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Deputy. Deputy Simpson is currently a Field Training Officer, Assistant Cadet Commander, and Canine Handler.

Deputy Jack Simpson graduated from the Butler Tech Peace Officers Academy. He has a degree in Electronic Engineering. He’s attended multiple training classes. Some of these include: Drug Interdiction and Criminal Patrol, Commercial Vehicle Drug Interdiction and F.A.S.T. training.

With his canine partner Axel, Deputy Jack Simpson patrols the interstates and roadways in Warren County; completes random drug sweeps of local schools, hotels, motels, and truck stops looking for drug activity. Also, Deputy Jack Simpson uses Axel as a patrol canine to track suspects or missing persons. He also assist all law enforcement officers in Warren County, by using Axel to do building searches, area searches, and assist these officers when executing arrest warrants.
